With the brilliant ideas and collaborative effort of John Heintz, the founder and spearhead ofThe Big Ol’ Nasty Getdown, The Flame came into creation. It is the evolution of the Brothership heading into uncharted territories; It combines the tonal qualities of an astounding tone-wood selection, including Padauk Wenge and Maple, with the sonic nuances and seemingly weightless effort of wielding a semi-hollow, not to mention its incendiary sonic capabilities, this bass will invigorate live performances and mesmerize the patrons with its built in LED system, ready to ignite the flames within each of us. It features Howard Ulyate’s custom handwound dual coil pickups, a Bartolini 3 band pre-amp, custom matching knobs, and copper brass and steel mosaic side fret markers and knob position indicators on the body. Behold the greatness and culmination of kindred spirits working together to create something beyond which anyone alone could have done.
